These instructions are intended to guide you through the Preliminary and Final Paper Submission process for the 2017 Wireless Power Transfer Conference (WPTC2017). The WPTC2017 technical program review committee will evaluate your preliminary paper. If your paper is accepted, you will be asked to submit your Final Manuscript(s) by April 5th, 2017 for publication in the conference digest. Successful submission will be acknowledged by email after completing the uploading procedure on the web site. No email, fax or hard-copy paper submission will be accepted.

WPTC2017 authors have 5 technical areas from which to select:

  1. Technologies for wireless power transfer systems
  2. Power transmitters and receivers for wireless power transfer systems
  3. Integrated circuits and systems
  4. Applications of wireless power transfer technologies
  5. Other device, system or application topics

Important Manuscript Information:
The paper length should be 3 pages for initial submission due February 19th, 2017 and 3-4 pages for final paper submission due April 5th, 2017. The purpose of this is to encourage the timely reporting of the latest industrial research and development results. In addition, university students and researchers may opt for a shorter paper length to reserve a better opportunity to expand their papers for possible journal publications. Note that there is a 2-Megabyte limit on the PDF file to be uploaded to the web site, no exceptions.
The abstract entered into the submission system may be used directly in the conference program, on-line content, and other materials and is strictly limited to 500 characters; longer abstracts will be rejected. The abstract length in the paper itself does not have that limit and can be longer, if desired.

Preliminary Paper
Prospective authors must electronically submit their Summary Manuscript in PDF format by February 19th, 2017, 11:59 PM Hawaii Time. Authors must use the provided IEEE two-column format. The Microsoft Word and LaTeX templates are available below. The two-column format is also mandatory for the Final Manuscript(s) Submission.

Copyright forms are not required for the stage of the preliminary submission.

Note: The paper length should be 3 pages for initial submission due February 19th 2017 and 3-4 pages for final paper submission due April 5th, 2016. Note that there is a 2-Megabyte limit on the PDF file to be uploaded to the web site. Please don’t ask for exceptions to these limits!

If you are notified that your paper is accepted, the Final Manuscript submission must be an IEEE Xplore compatible PDF. Sometimes authors may encounter difficulties with photographic images and the 2 Megabyte size limit. This usually occurs when pictures are taken using a high-resolution digital camera, and the image is pasted directly into the manuscript. Use compression on photos and figures to reduce the size, and work this out well in advance of the deadline! Some helpful information is listed in Section III of the template.

How to Submit your Preliminary Paper:
All papers must be submitted in PDF format to the WPTC2017 submission site, the link is shown below. You can also simply copy the link and paste it into your browser.
